   make a tie blanket…but make sure its big enough to fit both of you!
   make a photo album/scrapbook. Include things that have to do with your relationship, or things you both love.(pictures of where you met/first date etc)

   Make them something else homemade, like lip balm:
   - 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons of sweet almond oil.
   - 4 tablespoons of grated beeswax.
   - 1 tablespoon honey.
   - 6 capsules pure vitamin E oil.
   - 1/4 teaspoon cocoa butter.
   - 2/3 drops essential oil (peppermint or sweet birch are nice.)
   Just mix all the stuff together and scoop the goop into some 1/2 ounce tins which you can buy at a craft or dollar store.

   Buy a small pocket book and on each page write a REALLY funny joke you found on YA, or online, or that you made up. Sometimes, laughs are worth more than a 300$ gift that people stash away after a month.

   Make her a booklet of “Love Coupons” to be redeemed at a later date. Like you could have 1 x Night On The Town, 1 x Letting You Have The Remote During Football Season, 1 x I Make Dinner, 1 x Foot Rub… You get the picture. I’ve done it before for the same reasons and it went over pretty well. Or perhaps they were just being nice…
