christmas gifts for your girlfriend
A lot of men become paralyzed whenever they have to purchase a christmas gift for their girlfriend. They may feel as though they are in a no-win situation because if they do not buy a christmas gift then they will be in the proverbial “doghouse,” but if they buy the wrong gift they may be in the “doghouse” too.
In fact, women are actually notorious for expecting their significant other to read their minds. They often tell the men in their lives that if they really loved her they would know exactly what christmas gifts to buy for your girlfriend.
Some men try to please their women and overcome their disappointment by spending an extravagant amount of money on a christmas gift. should you get her jewelry? And if you’ve been together for over a year, how much money is enough to show her you love her?
It really depends on how long you’ve been together and your connection with each other. You don’t have to spend a ton of money, either. A day at the spa is always a good idea, although it’s not very fun to go to the spa alone, so two gift certificates may be nice, and let her decide if she takes you or one of her friends (Guys can have a lot of fun at spas too!)…If you’ve been together for a while and are comfortable that you’ll be together forever, an engagement ring is great! That’s what I got 3 years ago:] If neither of those seem fun, you can always do the fall-back flowers, dinner, jewelrey kind of thing. If you go to a respectable jeweler, they can help you pick out something appropriate…Just tell them exactly what you want your gift to mean. “I love you”…”I almost-love you”…”We’ve only been together a week but I’m into you”…
I also kinda wanna point out…Not all girls are into the typical girly things…For instance, when I got my engagement ring, it was in the box with my new paintball gun…You know her a lot better than I do…You know what she’s into! If she likes video games get her a game she wants…If she loves shoes, get her a gift certificate for shoes (shoes and purses are VERY hard to buy for someone…there are so many different ones, and everyone has their own tastes…so, unless she specifically says get me this one in this color in this size…I’m shy away from it) Caution: Gift certificates (unless to something you can’t physically wrap up like a day at the spa) can denote that you didn’t put much thought into her gift…so be careful
