The holidays are fast approaching and I bet a few ideas on the best cheap gifts for your girlfriend will be a lifesaver right now. After all what are the holidays without gifts, right? I love to get all the ladies in my life something small but thoughtful but it can get expensive!
which is trying to overcompensate by buying her something outrageously expensive like jewelry, here are some realistic cheap gifts for your girlfriend suggestions to save your buttockal region and retain a reasonable chance for a successful evening.
A gift card
what you do is you get the gift card, like $50 or $75 then ON THE GIFT CARD write something like, “FOR BIKINI USE ONLY” (or Ski Jacket or whatever). Then tell her you want to take her to the beach (mountains, whatever) when things “are less hectic” and you want her to have the gear she likes. AND you’re not stupid enough to try to buy her a swimsuit.
A Map (or Postcard): Almost every hovel/store, no matter how filthy, has them– maps of the state or postcards of touristy/romantic places that are 20 minutes away but you’ve never gone to before. If you get a map, open it (gently), circle some spot you know she’d like to go in marker. A postcard is more obvious.
Underwear/Lingerie. Not the pseudo-skankalicious stuff from Victoria’s Secret (or the ABSOLUTE WORST PLACE for last minute Valentine’s Gifts: Frederick’s, where chances are all that’s left will be the bra and panty set with the cash and prizes cut out– NOT A GOOD IDEA to turn your housewife into a ho).
get her perfume or jewelry, like a heart necklace or something. that what i would want and its so cute.
go with one of your girl best friends and make a build a bear for her with clothes that describe who she is, like high heels if shes like that or a sports jersey.
my guy best friend did that for his girlfriend and she loved it.
I’m sure you’ve got groceries….so gather together things for a picnic, and take her on one! If you have a park with a pond nearby that has swans or ducks, spend that dollar on a cheap loaf of bread to feed them… Or if there is a beach nearby…go there and enjoy the sunshine and surf and sand…
Give her your TIME, your ATTENTION, your LOVE…those are what most girls want, and need from the guy in their lives. Money doesn’t mean everything to everyone…
Sometimes…just being together is the most wonderful gift of all…and one she’ll appreciate, especially if you surprise her with this outing!
