   do you have a Things Remembered store in your mall? they engrave stuff. you could do a necklace or bracelet with your names on it or something.

   fix her her favorite dinner, with candles, Champagne and flowers! her favorite perfume! run her a bubble bath for her with candles, and then, well ,i think you know! and make sure it’s all about her that night!!!

   as a female, most girls are very impressed with something YOU plan. if your girlfriend is the sappy, romantic type, do a dinner somewhere quiet and romantic and then a concert, play, scavenger hunt. Anything like that. Girls eat that stuff right up. Otherwise, a sporting event? A night at a fun Bed and Breakfast? One thing that is kind of fun also is to do a progressive dinner event where you go out for appetizers/cocktails at one place, dinner at another place and then dessert at yet another place. it’s fun and you get to try new foods. If you really wanted, you could call ahead to one of the restaurants and have them bring out flowers or a small gift from you that you drop off in advance. Overall, just put a little thought into it. Girls are good at recognizing that stuff and from most girls I know, those are the gifts that are the most special. more special than anything you buy.
